“Sola Scriptura” or “Scripture Alone” is particularly important as the bedrock of all Christian belief, worship and practice, as stated in 2nd Timothy 3:14-17. Additionally, the 6th Article of Religion states the case for Sola Scriptura plainly: “Holy Scripture containeth all things necessary to salvation: so that whatsoever is not read therein, nor may be proved thereby, is not to be required of any man, that it should be believed as an article of the Faith, or be thought requisite or necessary to salvation.”

We believe our worship and theology can be edifying and strengthening to all believers in our Triune God, irrespective of their upbringing and experience in other denominations of the Faith of Jesus Christ. We believe this is true due to the sincerity, depth and God-given wisdom that permeates the beauty and power of this tried and true expression of Christianity, built by God through devoted Christian brethren many centuries ago.

We pray that all of those who worship here who are of Christ’s Flock will be comforted and encouraged in the knowledge and love of our Savior Jesus Christ; and that so replenished, they will spend their days acknowledging their Baptism into Christ’s Kingdom by fighting manfully against the world, the flesh and the Devil. We also pray that the Gospel being read, preached and sung in our worship of God and lived in our Church’s fellowship, will prick the hearts of those who know not Jesus Christ and His Gospel, and cause them to flee to His mercy in humility with a broken and contrite heart – the very same heart the Lord graciously gives to all of His people.
